Being the main cathedral of the Latvian Orthodox Church in the capital, the Nativity "miracle" also enjoys tremendous popularity among tourists and city visitors. Its gilded domes and delicate architecture, as well as the peaceful atmosphere inside the cathedral, make it a frequently visited landmark of Riga. It's no wonder that the cathedral is constantly "coddled" - touched up, restored, and updated.
