Art museum in Riga
About
The Riga Art Museum has gathered the most extensive state collection of artworks in its galleries. It's hard to believe that the number of exhibits has long surpassed 52,000.
Russian and European masters, the step-by-step development of Latvian art from time immemorial, numerous canvases, brushes from famous painters - it seems as though the art museum, like a gigantic magnet, has attracted all that is best and most beautiful in the world. The museum's building is located in the famous Esplanade Park, where exhibitions of Latvian and foreign masters are often held, alongside the permanent exhibition. In addition, the art museum has three branches scattered around the capital.
