About

Riga is rightly called the metropolis of Art Nouveau style because it is in the capital of Latvia that there are more than eight hundred buildings created according to the canons of architecture and design of that era. The Art Nouveau Museum is a step back in time, a window to Europe through which one can observe the smooth flow of life of the elite and bohemia.

The Art Nouveau Museum is located in the very center of Riga on Albert Street and is an apartment where the world-renowned master builder Konstantin Peksens lived and worked. The museum presents luxurious apartments with lavish rooms and decorations that precisely replicate the interior of an apartment from a century ago. Visitors can try on Art Nouveau hats, take photos, and purchase affordable souvenirs to remember their visit.

Belle reconstitution d'un intérieur bourgeois art nouveau. Tous les objets présentés sont d'époque.

I think it is enough to enjoy the building from outside and inside, and enter the reception to get the vibes, but apart from that there weren't much interesting things inside the other rooms.
