Church of Saint Therese in Vilnius
About
The southern part of the Old Town is adorned with an exquisite temple in a restrained yet elegant early Baroque style - the Church of St. Theresa surprises with its beauty both tourists and locals alike. The building is located near the city gates, the Sharp Gate, making it impossible to pass by such an architectural masterpiece without notice.
According to the creators' intentions, the church was meant to outshine all existing buildings at the time with its rich decoration and original facade, and this was in the early 17th century. The most expensive materials were used for construction: black, white, and red marble. As a result, the erected temple turned out to be powerful and majestic, and the atmosphere of the ancient era has been preserved within its walls to this day.
Visitors are welcome to enter the church at any time, and the temple itself is a favorite attraction among tourists.

Teresy, klasztoru Karmelitów Bosych i Ostrej Bramy.

Barok. Piękny wystrój .Buzliwe dzieje.
