Sainte-Chapelle in Paris
About
The chapel, recognized as the largest church in the world, is located on the Île de la Cité and occupies the site where the Royal Palace once stood.
Construction of the chapel began at the end of the 1240s and lasted more than 5 years. This building, created in the style of mysterious, and sometimes even mystical, Gothic, can rightfully be considered one of the attractions of Paris, alongside the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame.
During the construction, special attention was paid to stained glass art - a significant part of the glazing is decorated with it.
