About
The three-story building of the city museum holds the genuine history of Rimini in its "bowels," presented through 1500 exhibits among 40 galleries, covering an area of 3,000 square meters. As usual, tourists are welcomed by the outdoor collection of inscriptions from Ancient Rome, preserving the glorious moments of history of the once great empire. The first floor is divided between the sections for the fashion designer Rene Gruau and the palace mosaics of the Palazzo Diotallevi, while the basement of the city museum, which incidentally used to be a Jesuit monastery, is occupied by artifacts from prehistoric times, detailedly recounting the lifestyle and culture of Rimini. On the second and third floors, visitors can expect an extensive art gallery with frescoes, manuscripts, and sculptures.

Personale cortese.
