The Old Town in Krakow is quite a large area that has preserved amazingly beautiful buildings, shrouded in the mysteries of history. The main tourist route of the Old Town is the Royal Road, which runs right through it from Matejki Square to Wawel Castle. Since the late seventies of the last century, this part of the city has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and since the end of the last century, it has been declared a historical monument of Poland.
