About

Standing apart in the list of Krakow's attractions is the immense Krakow Planty Park, which also serves as the natural border of the Old Town. The history of this park began in 1822, with the planting of the first shrubs and trees on a site originally occupied by fortification structures. This planting occurred as part of the "Plantation" campaign, from which the park eventually got its official name. Today, the park covers a substantial area of 21,000 square meters and is divided into eight sections, each with its own name. The city's residents absolutely adore this place and come here to relax and have fun in the fresh air, take a break from the hustle and bustle, and immerse themselves in the charm of the local nature. It's a lovely spot at any time of the year.
