2025 Historical Buildings

Rivaling in grandeur and popularity even the Egyptian pyramids, the salt mine in Wieliczka is a truly unforgettable place. Walking 2000 meters underground, a unique museum, and local "architecture" once attracted Goethe and Sarah Bernhardt. The unusual sensations from exploring underground labyrinths, intertwining passages, and caves are guaranteed. The mine's age reaches nine centuries, and the complex itself has joined the ranks of UNESCO. 3 hours of breathtaking tour for an affordable fee are well worth the time and money spent. And for those suffering from allergies and asthma attacks, there is a sanatorium operating more than 100 meters below the ground.
