Fővám tér este o piață situată în centrul Budapestei, la granița dintre sectoarele V (Belváros) și IX (Belső-Ferencváros), la capătul Podului Libertății și al străzii Váci, lângă Hala Pieței Centrale. Este un nod important de transport și o zonă turistică vibrantă, cunoscută pentru arhitectura sa, piața centrală și accesul la Dunăre. Fondată în 1817 ca Salzplatz (Piața Sării), datorită depozitelor de sare din zonă, a fost redenumită Sóház tér (1850) și Só tér (1866). În 1874, după construirea Fővámház (Casa Vămii) de către Ybl Miklós în stil neorenascentist, a primit numele actual. Între 1949–1991, a fost numită Dimitrov tér, după liderul comunist bulgar Georgi Dimitrov, a cărui statuie a fost mutată în 1992 la Memento Park.
