About
Memento Park is truly a fragment of the socialist past of the entire world. Here, the communist regime still reigns, which seems to have found its only eternal sanctuary under the open sky.
The youth of Budapest, who did not witness the bygone regime in all its glory, as well as numerous groups of tourists, enjoy visiting the park. On its grounds, one can encounter monuments to Lenin and Stalin, as well as the immortal minds of the creators of "Capital." Besides the leaders of the revolution and reformers, the park also features cars from that era and even telephone booths, which, truth be told, no longer ring.
