Szemet gyönyörködtető, színvonalas kiállítás. Élőben látni Csontváry Kosztka Tivadar, Színyei Merse Pál, Székely Bertalan....és sorolhatnám a nagy neveket, képeit, felejthetetlen élményt nyújt!
J'ai beaucoup aimé la visite de ce musée d'art situé à l'intérieur du château de Buda. Certes l'architecture intérieure est trop sobre mais l'intérêt est ailleurs. La période du 19ème Siècle est la plus intéressante selon moi dans les domaines de la peinture et de la sculpture. J'ai découvert les toiles d'artistes hongrois que je ne connaissais pas avant cette visite : beaucoup de peintres de portraits et de paysagistes qui m'ont donné l'impression d'être dans l'équivalent d'un musée d'Orsay hongrois. Les deux œuvres emblématiques sont la Dame en violet et le pique-nique en mai qui rappelle beaucoup le Déjeuner sur l'herbe de Manet. Une partie des collections est même consacrée aux grands artistes français : Renoir, Monet, Cézanne, Toulouse-Lautrec, Gauguin et Gustave Courbet avec un étonnant tableau de Lutteurs. Je ne m'attendais pas à voir des retables au cours de la visite. J'avoue que ceux-ci étaient particulièrement grandioses. Le dernier étage est celui que je n'ai pas aimé : des collections d'œuvre d'art moderne et contemporain qui nous laissent de marbre avec mon ami. Nous avons rapidement traversé cette section qui n'avait pas l'air d'intéresser grand monde. Cet étage était quasi désert comparé aux autres parties du musée.
