Zero Kilometer Stone in Budapest
About
The Zero Milestone is located near Clark Adam Square right in the middle of the lawn. Initially, the monument was situated in the central part of the square, but it was soon moved, and its previous location was given over to a sculpture of the actor and producer Miklós Borsos.
The "Zero Kilometer" monument is made of plaster and is set on a small stone plinth. The huge zero, reaching a height of three meters, closely resembles the eye of a needle. At the bottom of the monument, there is a neatly engraved inscription "KM," indicating that it is from here that distances to other cities are measured.
