Gül Baba Street is shrouded in numerous stories and mysteries known to every resident of Budapest. However, beyond the fog of mystery and enigma, the street is considered one of the most beautiful and picturesque in the capital.
Gül Baba is the name of an ancient and forgotten dervish, remembered only by the Turks. According to legend, he had the power to heal people and perform miracles, which led to a street being named after him, followed by the construction of a mausoleum with a tomb. Along the winding and very steep street, miniature two-story houses with ancient balconies are situated, on which the locals hang their laundry to dry, just as they did centuries ago.

Régóta tervezett, bakancslistás helyet kerestem ma fel. Szépen felújított emlékhely csodálatos panorámával. Egy kis időutazás a múltba.
