About
The "Brudern" house can be called a bright example of eclecticism, combining the atmosphere of both a residential and office building. The building is located near a subway station in one of Budapest's central districts.
Brudern has remarkably managed to retain the charm of the past and the demanding practicality of the present. Its architectural style is frozen somewhere between Arabic calligraphy, Moorish patterns, and neo-Gothic. On the ground floor of the building are located cafes and upscale restaurants, while the rest of the space is divided between offices and residential apartments. The interior decoration is particularly lavish, and the building's "highlight" is considered to be a huge dome with colorful stained glass.
