About

St. Anne Church in Downtown Budapest is a premier attraction for those visiting Pest. With an impressive average rating of 4.7 on Google, its Baroque architecture and historic significance make it a must-see. Originally serving as an infirmary during the Middle Ages and later a mosque in the Ottoman era, the church was completed by the Servites in 1732. The structure stands out with its single tower and nave, which was elevated by an additional 12 meters in 1867. Despite severe damages during World War II, the church has been meticulously reconstructed. Today, it sits amidst modern buildings, high-end stores, and gourmet restaurants, easily accessible and perfect for a quick yet enriching visit.

Bàr tetszetős, de könnyű elmenni mellette, nem feltűnő. Beleolvad a Belváros sok csodájába. Az I. Világháború àldozatainak emléktáblája eléggé elszomorító.
