Three Crosses monument in Vilnius
About
Experiencing a city from its deepest underbellies to its utmost "creme de la creme" is not something everyone can do, especially considering that not every city dweller is capable of doing this - it requires an understanding of history, city chronicles, art, and other significant matters, which in reality is very complex. This is precisely why places that are shrouded in legends and myths emerge, yet no one can provide a definitive answer anymore.
The "Three Crosses" monument is located on the "Bald Mountain" on the right bank of the Vilnia River - every day, hundreds of tourists visit this place for vibrant photos and to connect with history.
Some say that it is a monument "in glory of the Magdeburg rights", others call it a "Christian mark", and still others praise the ancient church orders - the mystical unknown of the "Three Crosses" attracts people from all corners of the world.

Very beautiful and calm place. We went to enjoy the sunset and see the city view. It was quite worth visiting the place. It was bit cooler on the top due to wind in the month of august. You need to hike on stairs for maximum 20 mins to 30 mins depending on your pace.

Fajne. Dobry punkt widokowy.

Love the view! You can see the old town from top.
