About

The Old Town, located on the left bank of the Neris River, is called the historical center of Vilnius. It includes the Cathedral and its square, Gediminas' Tower, Castle Hill, and more than 70 streets, each notable for tourists.

This is where city life begins, and daily, both guests and residents of Vilnius fill the districts with their presence, relaxing, shopping, or simply strolling around. This area was formed over many centuries up until the mid-20th century, after which its "growth" halted, yet it still became one of the largest in Eastern Europe.

If you are in the capital of Lithuania for the first time and want to dive into the "tourist happiness" as quickly as possible, this is the place for you: cafes, restaurants, workshops with local artisans' crafts, shops, and much more. For those "hunting" for European architecture, the Old Town also has something interesting to offer.
