Ich bin seit meinem 2.Lebensjahr Mitglied (mittlerweile 58 Jahre) und immer noch begeistert. So viele Bücher hätte ich mir wahrscheinlich nicht gekauft, oder auch bekommen, wie ich so gelesen habe. Vom Bilderbuch, überJugendbücher, zu Sachbücher bis zu Krimis/Thriller und mehr. Als Buch oder Ebook. Ob im Schloss Mirabell oder am neuen Standort einfach Top. Sehr freundliche ,sehr hilfsbereite MitarbeiterInnen Es gibt auch tolle Angebote für Kindergärten und Schulen!!!

Die Auswahl wird immer besser, die Lern und Arbeirsplatzaufteilung ist inzwischen sehr gut, es ist immer noch kostenlos und man merkt letzteres auch an der sozialen bzw einkommensdurchmischungs gerade des jüngeren Publikum. Was imo die wochtogste soziale Aufgabe einer Stadtbücherei ist, dem wird die Salzburger absolut gerecht. Ich hab keinen Einblick wie genau das Prozedere bzgl onleihe abläuft, es wird auch dort eh regelmässig breiter angeboten, es gibt aber imo noch zu viele Lücken im Sachbuchbereich. Ansonsten einer der wenigen durch und durch guten Orte in Salzburg, ich bin sehr gerne dort und finds super, dass man den Aufwand und die Liebe zur Sache der MitarbeiterInnen wirklich spürt.

Neben der guten Auswahl an Büchern sind auch die Veranstaltungen sehr gut. Zum Beispiel Bücherwürmchen für die Kleinsten wird von Anna hervorragend präsentiert.
