About

The museum, which started as a private collection and now has become the most interesting attraction of the Salzburg region, rightfully bears the name Red Bull "Hangar-7." The owner of the eponymous company collected aircraft, and when there was no longer enough space, decided to make his "treasure trove" a heritage for the entire city and rented a part of the airport for this purpose. The sight of walking and sports planes under the museum's glass dome is stunning in their beauty and uniqueness, especially when combined with a pleasant visit to the world-renowned Ikarus restaurant. The local chef holds the distinguished title of the best in his century, and exactly once a year, chefs from all over the world gather here to showcase their skills.
