Central railway station in Salzburg
About
Located right in the heart of Salzburg, the train station not only connects the city with the rest of Austria but also offers access to many European capitals. Different categories of trains are denoted by letter abbreviations, and a quick trip to Vienna is possible on the branded trains of the famous Westbahn company. The station is packed with a variety of shops and cafes, it has its own luggage storage, a post office, and several travel agency offices. The surrounding infrastructure is just as developed, beginning right outside the glass doors - everything is bright with neon signs, shopping centers shimmer and glitter with lights, and hotels of various star ratings await tired tourists.

beautiful place

역사 내 흡연금지! 그래서 공기 좋음~ 유레일 1등석이면 obb라운지 이용 가능. 역사 앞에 잘츠부르크 이름이 없어 아쉬움.

Waited 2 hrs for connection between 12 and 2am! Main waiting area, mostly full of decent travellers, plus some mad American guy who was constantly re-living some past dispute or an episode from Friends. A bunch of inebriated pink t-shirt wearing raucous lads , clearly enjoying their first pint! A couple of druggies, a can collector. Normal really! 🙄
