Neptune Fountain in Salzburg
About
Once upon a time, horses bathed here, emitting their usual neighing and raising clouds of sparkling spray, but today, crowds of ecstatic tourists hurry to see an unusual creation of 18th-century architects and engineers. The fountain with the telling name "Neptune" was previously adorned with a sculpture of Pegasus, but now, instead of the winged beast, water washes over the "divine" feet of the sea lord, who sits atop his faithful sea horse. It is from this place that the city's guests begin their long and fascinating journey to the ancient castle, charged with the incredible energy of life that fills every architectural detail of the fountain.

Breathtaking fountain and surrounding gardens
