Officially, the castle serves as the residence of the President of Latvia, but due to yet another fire, restoration work is underway, which does not hinder tourist tours in the slightest.

Riga Castle, like any other medieval architectural monument, is full of mysteries and riddles. At night, the ghost of a knight is often seen here, which only fuels the interest of the city's guests in the building. The castle houses a museum of foreign art, a historical Latvian museum, and its literary "brother," named after the art critic and historian Rainis.

Το Κάστρο της Ρίγας είναι ένα από τα σημαντικότερα ιστορικά κτίρια της Λετονίας, χτισμένο το 1330 στις όχθες του ποταμού Νταουγκάβα. Αρχικά κατασκευάστηκε ως φρούριο των Τευτόνων Ιπποτών, ενώ με τα χρόνια υπέστη πολλές αλλαγές και επεκτάσεις.
