Gradually, from shelters, warehouses, and residential houses, the courtyard transformed into a romantic architectural composition with a rich history.

The modern Courtyard of the Convent is a restored complex bustling with life. Its inner courtyard is fully dedicated to souvenir shops and stores where anyone can find a pleasant trinket to remind them of Riga. Interestingly, the courtyard is locked at night, and this is done at all four of its entrances. Here, you can also find a porcelain museum, several authentic cafés, an antique salon, and even a hotel.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 4 giorni. Le camere sono pulite attrezzate di tutto: macchina per caffè, il ferro da stiro , il frigo ben fornito. Il personale gentile e disponibile. La colazione nel vicino ristorante ben fornita e varia. La posizione centralissima nel centro storico
