Bremen Town Musicians monument in Riga
About
The statue of the Town Musicians of Bremen, brought to life by the world-famous Brothers Grimm, is one of the most visited attractions in Riga. According to legend, simply rubbing the bronze nose of any of the animals will surely bring wonders to your life.
Once upon a time, a dog, a rooster, a donkey, and a cat left their owners and went to Bremen, deciding to become musicians. They failed to conquer the city's audience with their "singing," but succeeded in becoming symbols of the capital. The frozen figures, which in the story scared off the robbers in the forest, today attract the admiring glances of tourists. The sculpture is located on Peterbaznicas street, next to the Convent of Ekka building. By the way, the Town Musicians of Bremen also symbolize the end of the Cold War between two well-known superpowers.

Ich bin schon häufiger mit dem Bremer Stadtmusikantenexpress gefahren und es war jedes Mal ein tolles Erlebnis.
