About

Since 1969, the legendary Wawel Dragon has been guarding the peaceful residents of Krakow against enemies and ill-wishers. Living, as expected, in the Dragon's Den, the creature, according to legend, was slain by a brave soul. A marriage to the king's daughter was promised as a reward - a risk worth taking for one's head, don't you agree? He killed the beast, as is customary, but did not receive a monument for his deeds. Strangely, it was the dragon that ended up being memorialized. Made of bronze, anyone can make it breathe fire and even roar. The secret lies in a special gas mechanism. Interestingly, the fireball and roar are activated by a simple SMS message - the "recipient" reacts this way if disturbed. The particularly daring can descend into the beast's lair, the famous Dragon's Den, which also serves as a back exit from the Wawel Castle. It is now fully illuminated and quite comfortable, but the "dragon spirit" still lives in this place.
