St. Bernardine Church, just by the foot of Wawel Hill, feels like one of Kraków’s underrated treasures. Built in the 17th century, it blends Gothic and Baroque styles with beautiful altars and a serene monastic vibe. It’s often quiet, making it a nice spot to pause between sightseeing stops around Wawel. I loved how peaceful it felt compared to the busier Old Town churches – a quick visit here is definitely worth it if you’re exploring the area
