The river station is the main port of the city, which has been receiving vessels at its docks for centuries. The first official building of the river station appeared in July 1897. Half a century later, it was reconstructed and renovated. The modern building is a two-story structure, notable for its tower that resembles the masts of sailing ships. On the territory of the river station, one can see a variety of vessels, both industrial and cargo-passenger. Every summer, river trams operate from the station to the other side of the Dnieper.

Вокзал возведен из инкерманского известняка, а сверху отделан отполированным, блестящим, как надраенная палуба, мрамором. Мы сюда приходим, чтобы побывать на водной прогулке. Маршрутов речных путешествий много, есть даже такие, где прогулочные теплоходы проходят шлюзы. После такого времяпровождения в выходные дни вся наша семья заряжается энергией на всю неделю.
