Friendship of Nations Arch in Kyiv
About
The history of Russia and Ukraine is inextricably linked, and the monument installed in the central park of Kyiv is a testament to this. The People's Friendship Arch is an original architectural solution that will enhance your impression of the Ukrainian capital! If you've made it to this monument, take the time to visit the observation deck, which offers a picturesque panorama of the Dnieper River and its surroundings. Over time, the Arch was complemented by a central element about 6 meters high, symbolizing the friendship between the two countries. A bit to the left of the central composition is a stele that represents the events of the Pereyaslav Rada. Many people compare the monument's composition to an amphitheater because of the shape of the square where it is located.
