About

The Yenidze tobacco factory began its operations in 1908. Overall, the construction work took about two years. The building was designed by Hermann Martin Hammitzsch. Its distinctive ferroconcrete structure, resembling a Muslim mosque, was not appreciated by everyone, which led to its creator being expelled from the Saxon Union of Architects. Nonetheless, over the years, the Yenidze factory has become one of Dresden's landmarks.

While the building was originally used for manufacturing cigarettes of exotic brands such as "Murat", "Mongol", "Salam Aleikum", and "Fatima", it now houses a business center, a club, and a restaurant.

We thought it would be more of a gimmick coming here, but the food was actually delicious! They offer quite a few Arabic dishes and as far as I can tell, they were authentic and very tasty. The view is perfect, the atmosphere superb. Do visit his place if you are in Dresden.

Wegen Ambiente TOP! Wenig Personal, Donnerstagabend ab 21:00 Uhr keine Speisen, nur noch Getränke.
