About

The Museum of Pharmacy is located in the house at number fourteen on Tarnok street, famously known to every resident of Budapest. Once, it was here that a certain Ignatz Bözinger, also the owner of the "Golden Eagle" pharmacy, welcomed his visitors and listened to their numerous complaints.

The museum building is designed in the Neoclassical style, but its interior decoration is reminiscent of the Late Baroque with all of its features. The Gothic mansion conceals behind its impregnable and sturdy walls a delicate exhibition consisting of porcelain vessels and Renaissance-era pharmacist tools.
