A very beautiful and good place to relax and walk. But if you miss the return bus, you have to walk to the exit of the island.
Absolutely GORGEOUS and quiet island. A must-see if you’re visiting Budapest. I also visited the Obuda Museum prior to visiting the island, so it gave me a great understanding of the history of the island prior to going. I recommend visiting during sun set as it has such a beautiful view. Perfect for if you want an escape from the busy city that isn’t too far away. If you’re travelling to the island by bus on Saturdays just be aware that the last bus going back to the mainland is around 6.30pm!
