Church of Saint Mary in Brussels
About
The Church of Saint Mary is quite hard to find on the first attempt, as it is located far from the center in a Muslim quarter. The temple was built back in the nineteenth century, and interest in it from both pilgrims and tourists grows with every passing year.
The Church of Saint Mary can be seen from afar thanks to its tall spires and towers reaching upwards. Another distinction of the building is its Neo-Byzantine style, which is not found anywhere else in Belgium. Services in the church are temporarily suspended, but this does not diminish its value in the eyes of residents and visitors to the city.
