About

Église Notre-Dame De Laeken is a striking example of Gothic Revival architecture, dating back to 1854. Situated in Brussels, this Neo-Gothic Roman Catholic church was built in memory of Queen Louise-Marie. Its grandeur is complemented by the serene beauty of its stained-glass windows and the warmth of its unpretentious atmosphere. Beneath the church lies the Royal Crypt, which holds the tombs of the Belgian Royal Family, including former Kings of the Belgians. Visitors can enjoy free parking in front of the nearby cemetery entrance and access to public restrooms. This splendid church holds a 4.5-star rating and is considered one of the prettiest in Europe, making it a recommended stop for anyone touring Brussels.

The exterior of the church is very beautiful, but the interior is in desperate need of a renovation. Homeless people were sleeping next to door. But it's free to enter so why not enter if you are passing by

Après les travaux de rénovation c'est un splendide édifice et ses alentours. Magnifique avec son éclairage la nuit.
