The building's height reaches 90 meters, with the length of the main hall exceeding its height by almost twice. The modern Sacré-Cœur can accommodate more than 2000 people and serves not only as an active cathedral but also as a museum, as well as an exhibition and concert venue.

Un peu déçu car pour aller à la vue panoramique il faut payer avec une carte bancaire sans contact. Basilique très grande mais un peu nu.

Absolutes Highlight. Die Basilika ist gerade mal 52 Jahre jung aber absolut sehenswert. Und sie ist die 5größte der Welt.

Belle basilique en haut de la butte, elle est assez récente puisque les travaux on été faits sur la première moitié du 20e siècle. Les matériaux utilisés sont donc pour beaucoup à base de béton. Ceci étant elle est dotée d'un grand volume intérieur. De plus l'allée arborée menant au pied du site est vraiment très agréable, cela vaut le coup de chausser les basquets plutôt que de prendre les transports en commun jusqu'au site. Je vous recommande la visite payante en supplément pour aller voir le point de vue des alentours depuis le sommet.
