Zeebrugge Port in Bruges
About
Not too long ago, the Port of Zeebrugge was just a tiny harbor, which has quickly transformed into the largest transportation hub in Europe. Its own beach and several large docks have turned the port into a place for what is called "weekend festivals," attracting not only tourists but also locals.
The maritime station of Bruges holds the title of the most modern in Europe. The Port of Zeebrugge is connected to other cities in the country by a coastal tram that runs on a set schedule.
Speaking of the volumes of cargo that pass through the port annually, this figure reaches 50 million tons, among which container shipping occupies a large part.
