About

The flowing river and neat benches on the hill add a special charm to the Sint-Janshuis mill, a charm that you want to bask in for as long as possible. The mill is still operational, which you can verify by climbing the ladder inside.

Sint-Janshuis was built in honor of Saint John, and peasants often gathered here to discuss their immediate concerns and problems. The attraction is located just a ten-minute walk from the center, and a cozy restaurant serving always fresh beer to tourists is just a few steps away.

The windmill was good. They gave you a card with information about the windmill. I came at 9:30 on Saturday but they were not open. The sign said they would be open. Came back in the afternoon and the windmill was open.
