About

Modest appearance often conceals astonishing beauty, which can only be appreciated with one's own eyes. The Church of Saint Anne, clad in gray facing stone, hides behind its somber walls one of the most luxurious interiors in all of Europe.

Step by step, the temple, belonging to a poor parish, became brighter and brighter, acquiring new architectural styles and interior decorations. The Church of Saint Anne is considered an unofficial monument erected in "honor" of European Baroque. The building emerged on the site of a destroyed chapel, becoming over several centuries a symbol of humility and succinctness, through which, however, the bright light of colored stained-glass windows still shines.
