About

Bruges, as befits an ancient Belgian city, is designed for strolling and sightseeing. The old Church of Saint Giles is one of those places that you definitely should visit, holding your breath in awe.

The church is the only sanctuary in Bruges equipped with a clock. Usually, this style is characteristic of the countryside and was popular back in the fifteenth century. The cold and haughty interior decor of the church is "softened" with paintings and wooden interior details. A beech pulpit with carved patterns, confessionals, as well as a statue of Saint Giles, perfectly harmonize with the stained glass windows. The church houses one of the best organs in the city, and sometimes it hosts classical music concerts.

Beautiful church and organ. Had the privilege to play the organ a few years ago. Sounds awesome!
