Parochialkirche in Berlin
About
Parochialkirche stands as a testament to Berlin's rich history and architectural beauty. This Baroque masterpiece, designed by Johann Arnold Nering, opened its doors in 1702 and remains the city's oldest working church. Its distinctive clock tower and elegant bell tower dome create a striking silhouette against the Berlin skyline.
The church's resilience is evident in its post-war restoration, having been severely damaged in a 1944 air raid. Today, it invites visitors to explore its stunning architecture and tranquil grounds, where ancient crosses and the tomb of influential theologian Daniel Ernst Jablonski can be found.
Perfect for a family visit, Parochialkirche is easily accessible via the U2 line to Klösterstraße. Visitors often commend its pleasant atmosphere, especially captivating in the evening, and the impressive exhibitions hosted within. With a high Google rating of 4.6, it's a must-see attraction that offers a peaceful retreat from the city's bustling energy.

Unbedingt sehenswert.
