Parliament building in Vienna
About
This building is located in the heart of the Austrian capital and is of great interest. The Parliament building is constructed in accordance with the canons of Neoclassicism and embodies the spirit and history of the nation. The construction of the building, which began in the 1870s and lasted 10 years, was significantly influenced by Greek architectural traditions.
The interior space includes two large conference halls that previously housed the upper and lower chambers. Over time, following the fall of the Habsburg empire, it now accommodates the Federal and National Councils.
Externally, the building is a dominant feature. The continuation of the Greek theme is also expressed in the fountain of Athena Pallas in front of the main façade.
Today, the Parliament building is open for tourist visits as part of guided tours, which has become quite popular in recent years.

Just casually strolled into the parliament museum. They have a nice section explaining the history of the Austrian democracy. They have a public library there as well. You can also interact with the members of parliament digitally. Cool place.
