It hosts one of the largest Christmas markets each year, and it's here that locals come to ice skate to the accompaniment of cheerful music played by a DJ.

The square owes its name to the city hall located here. Its elegant facade and pointed spires have long been guarded by a knight, whose sculpture is perched atop the highest tower!
