Strolling down Deribasovskaya Street and observing all the attractions located there, one cannot help but notice a sculpture represented by a bench with a seated man on it. This man is the soul and voice of Odessa - Leonid Utyosov. According to the concept by architect L.V. Glazyrin and sculptor A.V. Tokarev, he simply sat down on the bench to rest after a concert. At the feet of this famous Soviet singer, composer and artist, represented as a bronze monument, there is a plaque stating: "Leonid Utesov: from a grateful Odessa."

One of the components of this architectural ensemble is also a telephone, made in an antique style. The aforementioned device is intended for anyone wishing to order their favorite Leonid Utyosov composition - and it will play for all those strolling at that moment along Deribasovskaya and the adjoining city garden.

Despite the fact that Utesov was born, raised, and wholeheartedly devoted to Odessa, he was buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow.
