The Snake Spring, like many others, is one of the main attractions of Karlovy Vary. Together with the Freedom and Garden springs, it is intended exclusively for internal consumption. The water temperature is maintained at 30°C (86°F) throughout the year, and its composition is characterized by a high content of carbon dioxide. This fact has led to the Snake Spring being classified as medicinal. Besides its healing properties, its location also plays a significant role in its cultural importance. The Garden Colonnade has been chosen as the site for the spring. This place is very beautiful and attracts a multitude of tourists. To maintain its name, the spring was designed in the form of a snake statue, from whose mouth the water flows.
