About

The city of Karlovy Vary boasts a long and very interesting history, with its development beginning in the second half of the 19th century. Its historic center comprises a vast number of buildings that hold significant value, both architecturally and historically. The majority of these were constructed almost two centuries after the city was founded, when nobility started arriving to improve their health. Russian Emperor Peter I also made a visit here. Travellers can see buildings constructed in a wide variety of architectural styles, and walking tours will forever remain in your memory. And, of course, one must not forget that Karlovy Vary has always been famous for its thermal springs, whose waters have a healing effect on the human body.
