About

When you find yourself in Karlovy Vary, don't just limit your exploration to viewing the town from the ground. To see the spa city from above, you can visit the Diana lookout tower, which can be reached either by walking through forest paths or by taking the funicular that starts from the Grandhotel. The tower was built over 100 years ago and stands about 550 meters above sea level. The massive structure is architecturally unremarkable, but the main reason to visit this place is for the picturesque city panoramas! From the tower, you are treated to mesmerizing views of the neat, colorful rooftops, the playful ribbon of the Teplá River, and the majestic domes of churches and cathedrals!
