About

This quaint yet incredibly cozy and picturesque park is located in the city center and essentially consists of just a few alleys, sporadically dotted with benches and sculptures. It was named after the famous Czech composer A. Dvořák. This spot is one of the local residents' favorite places to relax, and it's definitely a must-visit when in Karlovy Vary. A remarkable feature of the Dvořák Gardens is the trees, some of which are over 200 years old! At the heart of the park lies a small lake, adorned with a sculpture composition of a mermaid. It is one of the few parks where walking on the lawns is allowed, probably this distinctive feature makes Dvořák Gardens so popular among travelers!

Very nice park running along the river. We visited in the spring and there were lots of nice flowers blooming. The park is well kept and very clean.
