Church of Saint Mary Magdalene in Budapest
About
The Church of Saint Mary Magdalene, nestled in the Buda Castle District of Budapest, stands as a grand example of Baroque architecture amid a blend of historical and modern allure. Constructed between the 13th and 15th centuries, this iconic structure holds the rich history of the coronation of Francis II, Holy Roman Emperor in 1792. Though largely devastated during World War II, the resilient bell tower and side chapels remain a testament to its storied past.
Rated 4.5 on Google, this attraction is a favorite for both locals and tourists alike. The tower, accessible for 5 euros per adult, may challenge your legs with its 172 steps, but rewards climbers with a stunning panoramic view of all Budapest. Suitable for children and staffed by kind and helpful personnel, the church is a family-friendly destination where your travel card grants free entry.
Dedicated to Mary Magdalene, a faithful follower of Jesus, this site offers not just a spiritual journey but an architectural feast and a slice of history.

Carine, ma chiude presto, inoltre non ci sono spiegazioni sul posto, bisogna reperirle online. Peccato

Tylko wieża kościoła została oraz przykładowy wygląd łuku okiennego na fundamentach owego byłego kościoła.

I was a bit claustrophobic climbing up the first set of stairs, but after getting to the second floor it was much better!
