Plaza de España is the most important landmark in Barcelona, attracting over a million visitors each year. Its construction was completed for the renowned 1929 International Exhibition.

At its center is a large, operational fountain adorned with numerous sculptures designed by Gaudí's students. Flanking Plaza de España are two towers that rise to a height of 47 meters, allowing tourists to effortlessly locate this "major" attraction.
