Segovia

This city preserves the most beautiful aqueduct in southern Europe and the residence of the Knights Templar. Start your introduction to the Roman period of Segovia's history at the sculpture of the Loba Capitolina with a view of the legendary aqueduct. The best photos against the backdrop of stone arches can be taken from the Plaza del Azoguejo viewpoint.

Pay attention to the facade of the Casa De Los Picos, try tapas near Mirador de la Canaleja, and appreciate the austere Romanesque style of the municipal archive building.

Make time to explore the San Millán district and the square with its colorful pyramid. Climb the stairs and relax in the shade of the trees in Paseo del Salón park. Appreciate the grandeur of the Gothic Cathedral and enjoy the panoramic view from the top of the bell tower.

A walk along the mighty city walls from Puerta de San Andrés to Alcazar allows you to see dozens of sights: the Segovia Museum Casa del Sol, Paseo Don Juan II, and Queen Victoria Eugenie's square. In the 12th-century royal fortress, you can see several rooms and admire the views of the surroundings.

Pay attention to the gardens and parks beneath the city walls: this is Segovia's famous "green belt," a perfect place for walks and photography.
